Director Ajay Chandhok's Chatur Singh Two Star is a slapstick comedy. It is said to inspire from Pink Panther movies. After Double Dhamaal, it is one more slapstick film.
Chatur Singh is cop who is obsessive with suspense novels and he want be a spy. But chatur singh he is an idiot, who always troubled himself and other people around him.
One day a corrupt politician is attacked, so Chatur is appointed to give him security. But politician is murdered and his sectary Sonia is alleged to murder him. Sonia, who is blackmailed and victim of conspiracy, is sent to Cap Town, South Africa to retrieve some diamonds. Chatur follow her, to find original murderer.
What happen next tells the movie...
Will Chatur Singh able to find actual murderer... Will Sonia come clean from allegations on her...?
While Story is yet predictable but not very bad, and written screenplay was Ok. Performances are very loud and big drawback of movie. Direction is very dull, and boring. Not at any single time film impresses.
Though story is good, and screenplay is ok., but Very loud performances and weak direction failed the film.
It may be liked by fan of slapstick comedy.
Reviewer Verdict: It is strictly avoidable movie.
