Review Writer: Ajay Bharat
Rating: ***1/2

Director Ali Abbas Zafar's Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is the family comedy movie.

Luv is an Indian living in London and after his break up with his girl friend Piyali, he want to get married with an Indian girl. He gave responsibility of finding Indian bride for him to his brother Kush in India. After initial searching of bride, he eventually found a suitable bride Dimple Dixit, whom he happened to know earlier. After a video conference meeting between Luv and Dimple they agree to get married.
Dimple is open-minded, free, and liberal girl. During the preparation of marriage Kush and Dimple fall in love with each other, but date of marriage of Dimple and Luv is already been fixed.
Then what happens tells the movie...
Will Dimple and Kush express their love for each other...? Will Dimple and Kush able to stop the marriage of Dimple and Luv... Will Kush and Dimple able to marry with or without the consent of their families...

Film is nice family drama and marriage movie, also hilarious sometimes. First half of movie is very good, and with no doubt Katrina's performance is also very good. Second half of movie is not that good and is very over melodramatic. Movie suddenly changes from a good family comedy movie with good performances in first half to a very over melodramatic not funny with bad performances. Though again last 10 minutes of movie is good with its good performance and comic timing.
This is a film start as very good film and end as a good film, but bad in in-between. Story is though predictable but good direction and performance make it still watchable.
Overall film is very good family entertainer. Katrina's performance and good direction, screenplay at times are strength of movie.

Good points in movie are its good direction, screenplay, and performances. But movie in middle is very over-melodramatic.
It will be liked by fan of family entertainer film.
Reviewer Verdict: It can be watched for one time.
