Murder 2 (movie review)

Review Writer: Ajay Bharat
Rating: ***

Director Mohit Suri's Murder 2 is the thriller and disgusting genre movie, which is sequel of 2004 successful erotic thriller film Murder.
It is said to be inspired from Korean film The Chaser. It is also seems inspired from films Sangharsh and The Stoneman Murders.

Arjun Bhagwat who is ex-policeman, now earn by doing all wrong things in Goa. He is atheist but regularly visits to church for charity. His romantic relationship with Priya is complicated, where Priya used to ask him that what is her to him love or need, and he always reply none but habit.
Goan gangster Sameer contact him for telling him about missing of his hooker associates. Sameer agree to privately investigate case for money. He asks him to send a dummy candidate.
Reshma is a college girl, who agrees to become hooker for the help of her poor family. Reshma is unknowingly sent to client who is responsible to missing of other hookers and presumably murdering them.
What will happen then tells the movie...
Do Arjun will successful to help her or will she have the same fate as other missing hookers...

Chasing between prime protagonist and antagonist will thrill you, if you haven't seen any movie alike. However, story is very similar to some other movies in past. Disgusting genre is new genre for Indian viewers, so it might liked by some.

Performances of all characters are OK. Direction is good, screenplay is Ok.
What bad in movie is that Film which is story-driven, have no freshness in story. It fails to thrill you.
Do not compare it with original movie, both movies seems to belong to separate genre. Do not compare it with other films from which it seems to inspired otherwise you may result into disappointed.
It will be liked by those who haven't seen films from which it is said to be inspired.
Reviewer Verdict: It can be watched for one time.
