Director Abhinay Deo's Delhi Belly is a treasure adventure and comedy movie. Film is much famous for its song 'bhaag dk boss'.
Journalist Tashi Dorjee Lhatoo, photographer Nitin Beri, and Anup are three friends living in same apartment. Three of them are lazy and messy. Tashi's girlfirend is Sonia. Sonia who is an air hostess had taken the responsibility of handing over a packet from Vladimir Dragunsky to the Somayajulu, without knowing what is in the packet. Sonia handed over the responsibility to Tashi, who given it to Nitin, and who further given it to Anup. Anup take two packets one is the packet to be delivered and other packet contain stool of Nitin to be handed over to Nitin's docter. Anup mixed packets and delivered wrong packets to docter and Somayajulu.
Tashi at a party fights with ex-husband Rajeev of his colleague Menaka. Rajeev chases behind Tashi and Menka. Somayajulu, when find wrong packet, starts to investigate to get correct packet. Three friends when get packet, they find diamonds in it, and they try to sell them.
Then what happens tells the movie...
Will Somayajulu get his diamonds back... will three friends escape safely from the chase of Somayajulu...
Film is an interesting story about chase and treasure adventure. Screenplay is good, but direction looks messy at many places. Abuses used in film look like forcible and less natural. Overall it’s an average movie. Performances are average.
Good points of movie are its good screenplay and adventure, while messy direction and forcible abuses are its bad points.
It will be liked by fan of adventure, buddy, and abuses movies.
Do not expect the clean movie and intelligent direction.
