Director Deepshikha Nagpal's Yeh Dooriyan is a social drama and romantic movie. Deepshikha is also story & Screenplay writer, Producer, and lead actress of film.
Simmi is 35 year old choreographer, she is divorced and mother of 2 child. She fall in love with much younger bachelor boy Raj. But then they face social pressure and have break up.
Later her ex-husband Aditya and also Raj again shows up.
Then what happen tells the movie...
What she will do... will she choose any of two...
What will happen of her children...?
Movie with its tagline love after divorce... gave impression it would be a social movie with discussing some important issues of women. But sadly this movie failed to gave any impression. Deepshikha's performance is weak, she seems sad even in light situations. May be she have taken too many jobs of movie in her hand that she unable to handle them properly.
Romance looks forced and lack neutrality. It is difficult by this movie to appeal even to those women who are in same boat as the lead character of movie.
Though movie raises a noble social message, but direction, screenplay, performances in movie is weak.
It might appeal to woman having same situation as lead character.
