Director Sagar Ballary who has also directed Bheja Bry 1 and Bheja Fry 2 is again come back with his film Hum Tum Shabana. It is a comedy movie. Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade who have acted together in Golmal franchies films are again came back together.
Rishi and Karthik are working in a highly reputed event management company. Company is managing a beauty pageant event. Shabana Raza is one of the participant of beauty contest. Rishi and Karthik both have romantic interest in Shabana. They both start competition to woo her.
After the beauty contest, when they go to Shabana's house, they come to know that his only guardian and uncle Panju Don is an underworld don. Panju Don wants to marry Shabana with one of from Rishi and Karthik. Now both of them try to get rid of Shabana and his uncle, but it is not that easy.
Then what happen tells the movie...
Will they succeed to get rid of them...? Who will marry Shabana...?
Movie is good time pass movie. Everyone have done Ok job. Film is though not completely slapstick comedy but it is closer to slapstick then the seriously made comedy movie. Original storyline or theme of movie is good and some sequences are very good. But story is trying to go around many several genres or themes. It is like combination of 'Andaz Apna Apna', 'Deewana Mastana', 'Welcome', and 'Dhamaal'. It could have been better if screenplay would have focus on central theme of story, rather trying to go around several themes or genre.
Good points of movie are its storyline, some good comedy sequences. While bad points of movie are its closeness with slapstick comedy, and its screenplay which try to use several themes in single movie.
It would be liked by fan of comedy movies, and those who want some light comedy entertainment.
