Director Praveen Kumar's Jo Dooba So Paar is a social drama and comedy movie.
Kishu lives in Bihar with his parents. When Kishu expelled from his school, he have to accompany his father in his work of truck driving. Here, he evident the open crime world in Bihar and is unsatisfied with this life. Kishu then met with an Indo-Italian girl Sapna who have just come to India to his uncle's home from Foreign for doing some research work in villages. Kishu takes the self-responsibility to show local area to Sapna for helping her in her research work on life and culture. Kishu falls in love with Sapna. Soon, Sapna is kidnapped. Now Kishu have to find her and protect her.
Then what happens tell the movie...
Will he find Sapna...? Will he be successful to express his love for Sapna to her...?
Film server nothing new, it is same old story of a young villager falls in one-sided love to a foreigner. Film though is little comic but same time it is serious in its treatment. Film does not have any clapping scene, neither has it given a very good message, nor does it give any big laugh for any funny scene. Though it successful to show the crime in daily life of some part of India.
Good point of movies is its depiction of crime in daily life of certain part of India, which seems real in some way, while bad point of movie are its old story, nothing interesting in story, average performances, direction is ok.
Film will be liked by fan of simple rural life of a simple person within a crime dominating place.
Do not expect any very interesting sequence in movie.
Reviewer Verdict: Film can be seen if nothing better is there to done.
